DSEK Releases Provisional Lists of Special Education Teacher Posts in Jammu & Kashmir
The Directorate of Samagra Shiksha, Jammu & Kashmir, has released provisional lists of eligible candidates for the posts of Special Education Teacher on a contractual basis under the PM Shri Scheme.
In response to Notification No. 01 of 2023, dated 12th December 2023, a total of 6208 applications were received for 69 posts (35 in Jammu Division and 34 in Kashmir Division).
After preliminary scrutiny, 6017 candidates were found ineligible, leaving 191 eligible candidates as per the defined criteria.
Following objections from candidates, 03 more candidates were found eligible, totaling 194 candidates eligible for consideration.
Based on document verification and selection criteria, provisional merit lists of 103 candidates for Jammu Division and 91 candidates for Kashmir Division have been prepared.
Candidates from the first 40 positions on both Annexure A & B are advised to visit the Committee at the Directorate of Samagra Shiksha, Jammu, with original documents and self-attested photocopies for verification within seven days from the issuance of this notice.
It’s important to note that these lists are provisional and subject to change based on document verification and objections.
Candidates with grievances or requiring clarifications can email or visit the Directorate at Jammu within five days from the issuance of this notice.
The notice also instructs the administrative authorities to publish this information in leading newspapers and upload it on the official website for wider dissemination.
